A problem arose as we left the tender platform. The fwd line was not released when we pulled away resulting in one of the metal grids from the platfom being pulled into the water & having to be fished out.

Rather than climb up to Dalmeny Railway Station we took advantage of a local coach operator who was offering the return trip into Edinburgh at a fraction of the price Cunard were charging & he was running every half an hour so one didn't have to spend 5 hours there.
