The 2 Sapphire Pools, Deck 12 midship aboard Norwegian Jewel. One pool has a waterslide. This pool, according to my son, was fresh water, and warmer than the more fwd pool with waterfall, which he says was salt water. Is he correct?

There is also a small 'caged' Kids Pool area, with hot tub & paddling pool with slide, but I didn't get a photo. It is nothing compared to the facilities on Norwegian Dawn for kids, and is just aft, port side, of the waterslide Sapphire Pool [near Topsiders Bar].

Standard Outside Cabin, Category FF, 4528. Described as having a 'Picture Window' and 'Family Friendly Accomodation' being 'Third and/or Fourth person occupancy available'... ... [it should have been categorised as 'Third person occupancy available' & had a porthole]..

The fwd, mid & aft Stairwells are colour coded with matching lift interior carpets. Blue/turquoise - fwd, Purple - mid, Red? - aft

The Crystal Atrium is not the typical new ship open cavernous waste of space, but a rather nice 2 deck affair, midship 7 & 8. "Eclectic Design features a large colour-changing, fibre optic ceiling light" - this does give the area a totally different appearance with the various colours.

The furniture is rather colourful on its own, with a lovely white Grand Piano. The Java Café occupies the fwd area of the Atrium, Reception aft, with the Shore Excursion Office to port and Port O'Call Shop [crystal, china, jewellery] to starboard.

At 10:30pm, off the South Coast of England, Norwegian Jewel stopped for a "Fireworks Celebration"

The 'Freestyle' Sun Deck is I assume 'Clothing optional' although it does not say that anywhere in black & white. Children are not permitted and as shown, the glass surround is frosted.
