Dar el-Annabi, Sidi Bou Said - Apr 14, 2006
-
Built towards the end of the 18th Century, this property has been restored to depict a typical Tunisian home of that time. Located in the main tourist shopping street, it is well worth a visit for a few Euros, the mint tea served and the views from the roof terrace - 14 April 2007 - Album was created 6 years 1 month ago and modified 6 years 1 month ago

Porto Di Livorno - Livorno Harbour, Old "Navicelli" - Apr 12, 2006
-
In the centre of the Port of Livorno is the Old "Navicello", used for the transport and unloading of goods. It was salvaged from the "Venezia Nuova Canal" Il Livorno by the "Azienda Mezzi Meccanici" in 1985. It was been restored and placed here in 1992, beside the Ex "Darsena Maritima" in memory of the Boathen and Caulkers who worked so hard in the port for 4 centuries.
The boats now need further restoration and the photographs of the Old Port need cleaning up terribly. I doubt many people actually see this exhibit. - Album was created 6 years 1 month ago and modified 6 years 1 month ago

Punic Port - Carthage - Apr 14, 2006
-
Only a handful of photos of the island as seen from the road, and St Louis Cathedral in the distance. There is little to see of the Punic Port, but there is a small museum to visit. Best depicted from the air, see postcard.
For many photos of other Carthage sites, Amphitheatre, National Museum of Carthage, Roman Theatre & the Thermal Baths of Antonin, on a previous visit, see:- http://magwa.fotki.com/cruising/oceanic_2005/ports_of_call/tunisia_-_carthage/ - Album was created 6 years 1 month ago and modified 6 years 1 month ago
