Room for 2 rollaways end to end, under the portholes along the bulkhead. 2 double and 1 single wardrobe with safe, shelves & basket drawers, vanity unit with drawers unders. No hairdryer, TV or fridge. Bathroom has 3/4 tub with shower over; one has to do a "wiggle" once inside to shut the door.

The Palestra Gymnasium is down on 'A' Deck, rather crummy looking and in the middle of what appeared to be crew cabins [cabins along the outside of the vessel with the gym where inside cabins would have been]. I did not take any photos in there, due to the sole occupant being spread eagled in the middle of the floor - April 2006

MSC Monterey's Disco, a long way down on Deck 'C'. Once named the After Eight Nightclub. The Videogames Arcade is also on Deck 'C' and the Matson Theatre [note UK English spelling], a cinema, Deck 'B' - April 2006

MSC Monterey's Dining Room/Restaurant, Aloha Deck aft. Very poor photos I'm afraid. H shaped, with the centre section recessed. A lovely room. Although there are portholes along both sides, these are too high to see out of when seated. They are covered with louvres which add extra light to the room.

MSC Monterey - Seven Pearls Lounge [Show Lounge], Promenade Deck aft. A popular venue throughout the day and evening. Large flat screen TVs along the sides. Watch the dancers practice in the morning too. The sides are raised a level, but sightlines to the stage are poor in many areas.
