Cartagena has a lovely promenade. Plenty of cafés too with marina views. Sculptures, monuments - Heroes of Santiago de Cuba & Cavite, "Whale Tail" - Cola De Ballena, Carthago, Sailors dotted around.

Around the Naval Base with various vessels, lighthouses, Christmas Fort, Coastal Fortifications, cargo terminal, if in luck you may see a submarine sailing in/out of port. Escombreras Basin [oil/gas terminal] & more. 5 Euro or therabouts for 40 mins - Cartagena 18 July 2008
